The new site allows us to produce a more comprehensive training environment while delivering new course material in a  subscription format.  Previously we would price our course material as a one-time purchase, which worked well in the long-term stable release environment of the Joomla 1.5.  Now that the Joomla team has committed to faster paced releases, it has become necessary to move to a training program model that is based on continuous development.  This is best achieved using a low cost subscription model.

We hope you'll join with a new subscription.  By purchasing a subscription, you'll be entitled to future updates to the course for as long as you're subscribed.  That means that as Joomla 2.5 is released in early 2012, active subscribers will have access to the training material that we produce for it, as we build it.  Instead of purchasing new course material for each release, a Start Learning Joomla! subscription provides the lowest cost access to the best training material on an ongoing basis.
